MonTrees was started in 2019 in a back closet of an on-campus apartment at the University of Toledo. Andrew was looking for a creative outlet but struggled to find something that felt right. That is, until he stumbled upon woodworking. With Tori's support, Andrew quickly bought some basic tools and started to learn. His first project was a wooden nameplate for Tori's office, this was made with only a hand saw and a chisel. Now, MonTrees has evolved into something much larger, with a dedicated space to build and Andrew's love of woodworking has only grown. The mission of MonTrees is to bring beautiful, one of a kind, works of art into people's homes.
